Beyond time for an update.

Lassie is playing and I have smidge of energy, so here are a few tidbits.

Anya on TRAFFIC:

Come on! Go, go. COME ON cars. It's GREEN...GOOOO! (and no, it's not from me, she made it up herself)

Anya on BEDTIME during summer:

No, it's not bedtime you silly goose. The sunsa is still up.

Anya on the name GRANDMA (taken from Grandma and Babooshka):

Gramooshka.

Anya to her BROTHER SCOTT, who is the head lifeguard (on duty) at the pool, on our first day swimming there:

Hey, Scott, WATCH ME! SCCCCOOOOOOTTT, I said WATCH ME!

Anya on the GIRL who is walking in the 2' deep pool, after she herself learned to swim again only 15 minutes ago:

She's not REALLY swimmin.

Anya when passing an IN-N-OUT burger joint and pointing at the big yellow check mark:

Mama, I want a cheeseburger right now.

Anya upon meeting a NEW PERSON:

I have a question for you. You have a dog?

Anya upon learning the person DOES NOT HAVE A DOG:

Ohhhhhh. I'm so sad. Why you don't have a dog? You have a cat?

Anya to my SISTER upon talking about her Mastiff  'Dempsy' who recently died:

Tye Tye Mo (Aunt Mo), you put Dempsy in the trash?

Anya after looking at a DOUBLE CHIN:

I don't wanna be old, I don't like this (hand motion pulling her hand across her neck under her chin).

Anya after looking at MY STOMACH and stretch marks:

Eww. I don't want that-I adopt a baby.
